In the last 15 minutes the story picks up seems to be getting pretty good and then the film just ends mid scene. The tale here is a coming-of-age story with pepperings of Mystery and Suspense though the plot is heavily anchored around some truly classic Horror characters. Wildling is the feature directorial debut of German-born Fritz Bohm and its a good first film finding a smart balance between sympathetic characters who are willing to understand Anna and ugly ones who are quick to judge her.

The violence in this movie isnt very frequent but it is a bit graphic a character sticks a gun in his mouth and pulls the trigger. Sorry--Wildling is not the continuation nor prequel of the shenanigans of the free folk North of the wall. I actually wish the movie had been longer. Wildling is actually not a bad movie at all considering that this genre has been milked over and over again.
